How are you doing? What a powerful question, it seems easy, doesn’t it? Many times, people ask that question not knowing what the response may be from the person asked. What if the person was truthful about how they are feeling at that moment in time, how would you respond? How would you want them to respond? Many would say they want someone empathetic, supportive, patient, helpful, and trustworthy.
I am an Army brat, wife, and mom, and I am very familiar with the military community. I have also had the opportunity to work in a variety of environments and a variety of people in Texas. My initial experience began as a case manager with the local MHMR working with individuals who were homeless and diagnosed with depression, anxiety and schizophrenia.
I am currently accepting NEW patients! As an African-American LPC-A and LCDC-I, I primarily work with Adults (18+) that are struggling with depression/anxiety/adjustment disorders related to stress, grief, life transitions, trauma and anger. My goal is to help you adapt and navigate a world that can be challenging, overwhelming and even exhausting at times.
