I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, distinct traumatic events/complex trauma, grief/loss, stress management, boundary setting, life transitions, relationship issues, therapy for therapists, emotional regulation skills, and identity development. One of my passions is working with women of color and first-generation child of immigrants dealing with the impacts of intersectionality, marginalization, immigration, acculturation, and generational/historical trauma. I also love working with couples helping them work on their communication, rebuild connection, and reducing negativity.
I am a bilingual Spanish speaking therapist. My therapeutic style is integrative, relational, and psychodynamic. I take the time to get to know you and learn what are the things that make you, you, and use a variety of approaches to find what best fits your needs.I consider you the expert in your own life and look forward to working collaboratively with you.
