We all need safe, non-judgmental space to grow and address challenges in our lives, and it is my goal to create this with my clients. I help clients experience emotions without feeling controlled by them. Understanding how to live better in our bodies, helps us live better in our lives and relationships. Anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, attachment ruptures, mood disorders, relationship struggles, and generally just growing up, all impact our nervous system and our thoughts. Being human is hard, and sometimes we need extra support.
Through collaboration and compassion, I can teach clients to slow down their nervous systems, understand the subtle cues and messages of the body, create plans for how to self-sooth, and help bring the mind and body into alignment. As this occurs, clients are better equipped to understand the origins of wounds and pain.
I draw strongly on my learning from Internal Family Systems, attachment theory, polyvagal theory, insight-oriented processes and somatic awareness. My wholistic approach led me to complete a 200-hour yoga certification and an additional 120 hours of trauma informed yoga/meditation.
