I have experience with a variety of clinical issues including anxiety, depression, life transitions, parenting challenges, postpartum issues, trauma, adoption and attachment, LGBTQ and women’s issues. Whatever the stresses you are facing, talking through them in a warm, safe environment can make a difference.
I think my clients experience me as supportive and warm. Yet, in addition to support, I provide clients with concrete strategies and ways of thinking about things differently that they can immediately put into action to begin creating change in their lives and sometimes in themselves. Therapy can be hard work, but laughing together can make it easier.
I believe that building a warm, trusting, collaborative relationship is at the heart of successful therapy. My strengths as a therapist lie in my ability to meet people where they are without judgment, but with empathy, humor, and new ideas and perspectives.
