The therapeutic process can be painful and difficult but effective and healing the same time. Together, we will work on your traumatic experiences and help you find answers within yourself to bring you closer to a happy and healthy life. I have received a BA in psychology and MS in clinical mental health counseling from Keiser University. Also, I have been trained in EMDR therapy which targets different traumatic experiences. I pay a lot of attention to childhood as relationships with parents or caregivers affect us later in life and impact our ability to regulate our emotions and function in general.
When we grow up, we have a tendency to repeat and recreate the emotional environment of how it used to be when we were kids. I also work with psychosomatic symptoms as I believe that we contribute to every single illness in our body. Body and mind are well-connected. When the body gets sick, it means we take poor care of ourselves physically and mentally.
Illness is simply telling us that we need to change something about ourselves. I will work diligently to support you in your healing process of becoming the most mentally healthy version of yourself.
