If you feel overwhelmed, lost, lonely, depressed or anxious, you are not alone. In our world today, many people experience these feelings. I have dedicated the past 16 years of my life working with and helping individuals, couples, families, children and older adults facing different challenges in their lives, such as grief, relationship issues and mental illnesses. I use therapeutic approaches & techniques such as, family system, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), attachment-based therapy and mindfulness. In addition, I have trainings in Emotion-focused therapy (EFT & EFIT) a useful therapeutic approach for couples and individuals.
As a licensed social worker, I have learned to look at the whole system of one’s being through strength-base lenses. As a mother and partner, I know the value of healthy communications and personal connection and acceptance. As someone who has experienced depression and anxiety first hand, I understand the challenges & also the value of being heard & guided.
