I specialize in anxiety, depression and woman's issues. I believe in client centered work and meeting individuals where they're at. One method or therapeutic style does not work for everyone, and I believe in being present and non – judgmental. These are core principles in building a healthy therapeutic alliance. I have held many hats and played many roles in the field and have worked with a wide range of individuals of all ages and backgrounds. I help individuals gain insight and confidence that they can navigate through the world on their own speed and time, helping them to appreciate their process and be proud of whom they are.
As a Hispanic woman growing up in the city, I am passionate about individuals becoming their absolute greatest versions of themselves, despite where they come from and what they have experienced. My background and interests include working with individuals, who are experiencing life transitions, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship issues.
The goal is always to create a safe holding environment that will allow the individual to tune in to their strengths, challenge their negative thought patterns and allow the individual to establish a healthy sense of self and be the best versions of themselves with use of (but not exclusive) strengths-based therapy, CBT and Motivational interviewing.
