Hello, I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Marriage and Family Therapist. I am licensed in California and Utah. I have a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Mount Saint Marys University in Los Angeles, CA. I take a compassionate and proactive therapeutic approach to collaborate with my client on creating a treatment plan focused on enhancing and improving their life. For the past six years, I've provided mental health services in community centers, schools, and telehealth therapy with adults, families, and children.
I've been trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Solution Focused Therapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and overall take a person-centered approach based on my client's goals.
I began my journey as a therapist at a very young age, as my mother suffered from mental health. As a child, I took a curious and empathetic approach to try to understand and support her through her challenges. My life's purpose is to serve others.
