My primary focus is on helping couples and working with families including adolescents, and adults. I am a trained couples therapist utilizing Relational Life Therapy by Terry Real (RLT), The Gottman Method and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) as my foundation for helping partners get unstuck and develop a deeper connection. Trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), I am able to treat the effects of trauma to assist clients to gain emotional freedom from past traumatic events.
My philosophy is that, because of our unique differences and complexities, an integrative and holistic approach is the best way to move toward healing and long-term health. I enjoy helping clients identify and resolve the deeper emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical root causes of pain in their lives, while also addressing immediate needs.
I consider it an honor to help individuals explore the systems of family, spirituality, environment, and culture that surround them with the hope that clients will become aware of opportunities to bring lasting change and the courage to author a new chapter to their story of life.
