I specialize in working with people who identify as LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, immigrants, and children of immigrants while affirming their identities and lived experiences. As a child of immigrants myself, I understand the unique challenges and perspectives that can come with trying to reconcile one’s individual identity and culture with the dominant culture-at-large.
I work from a trauma-informed, psychodynamic, and attachment-based approach with elements of somatic therapy and mindfulness. Together we can help you discover tools to use in your everyday life to help you manage difficult feelings but also comb through your past and explore your earliest experiences and how they relate to your current challenges.
I hope to help you on this pursuit to a more joyful and fulfilling life. The self-compassion you find while taking these moments for yourself can be invaluable.
