Do you feel anxious, depressed, and not like yourself? Would you like some tools to manage life in a more healthy and helpful way? Sometimes we feel stuck and need someone to believe in us. I want to be that person for you! Together we can reach your goals for living the life you know is possible. We will work collaboratively and I will strive to honor who you are, your life story, and the strengths that have gotten you through life this far. Therapy can be hard work, but it can feel a little less scary when you have someone by your side who believes in you.
I have experience working with severe depression, anxiety, and OCD in addition to trauma and challenges in relationships. The modalities I use are cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, exposure and response prevention therapy, EMDR, mindfulness, and dialectical behavior therapy.
My foundational approach is strengths-based through an attachment lens. Your family and the context in which you have experienced life are essential components to understanding your story. I recognize you as a whole person that is doing the best you can with the knowledge that you currently have. I can't wait to work with you!
