Are you feeling anxious and overwhelmed? Do you wonder where your energy has gone? Is it difficult to make decisions or plan for future goals? Are your relationships suffering? I work with clients every day who answer yes to these questions. They are anxious and overwhelmed. They are living with grief and sadness. They struggle with relationships (parenting, marriage, partners, friendships, work). Some live with chronic pain; many are burned out.
Counseling can help. I work with clients to clarify problems, implement solutions and understand connections between behavior, feelings and outcomes. Using multiple styles of therapy (CBT, EMDR, DBT, narrative therapy and more), I help clients process the past so they can understand the present and create a healthy future.
I work with individual clients ages 13+ and offer highly effective EMDR therapy for trauma processing, anxiety and more. I look forward to meeting new clients and hearing your personal stories. I believe in Kierkegaard's famous words: “Life can only be understood backward, but it must be lived forward.”
