Whether you are being challenged by long-standing struggles, a recent life change, questions about your values and goals or a traumatic experience, I am available to assist you in facing the difficulties that life presents. I aim to provide a safe and supportive place to adolescents and individual adults to explore and discover. Specific areas of interest include relationship issues, life transitions and adjustments, grief and loss, trauma, childhood abuse, and stress management.
With a person-centered approach, my services are tailored to the needs and preferences of the client. Evidence-based approaches include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, EFT/Tapping, and Motivational Interviewing. Additionally, I am certified in Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT).
My style of working is warm and collaborative utilizing humor, mindfulness, and directness. My goal is to help clients experience feeling heard and understood in order to facilitate self-exploration and insight, increased sense of direction, self- empowerment, trauma resolution and achievement of an overall sense of well-being.
