My ideal client is ready for some change. My ideal client is open to ideas and willing to give input. I love working with (newly coupled), pre-marital couples and with the empty-nesting couples...and everything in between. I'm also drawn to those who just want to keep a good check on their relationship as it goes. As well, I work with couples experiencing some bumps in their journey. I like to see people willing to try something new as Brainspotting is really taking off. I have also found that I am a good match with middle-aged people, especially those who are not 100% sold on therapy yet.
With my training and my own marriage under my belt as well as my children leaving the nest, I find that I can relate to many types of clients. I am a very no-nonsense therapist. I am kind, but I am really willing to challenge clients and ask the hard questions. I am also practicing my Brainspotting skills and can use it to help clients work through trauma.
