My experience is in working with adults in both individual and group settings. I help clients who struggle with stress, anxiety, low self-esteem, academic issues, interpersonal relationships, identity issues, family and cultural issues, and life changes. I am interested in working with individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds. I believe that while we might not have control over the things that happen to us, we can control how it affects our present and future. Our mental health must be treated with the same vigor we treat our physical health. Know that while pain may be inevitable; suffering is optional.
Through an integrative approach, utilizing psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and holistic techniques, I provide a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings.
With time, openness to change, and a strong therapeutic relationship, my goal is to listen and empathize with each client’s experience and collaboratively work towards customizing coping skills that will help them heal and grow; achieving the healthiest versions of themselves.
