My passion is to help people overcome feeling "stuck" in unhealthy patterns by facilitating real, healthy changes through self-discovery and practical applications. I am a good "first" therapist for people who are a little afraid of therapy. I have extensive experience working with first responders, military personnel and veterans. It is not just about talking, it is about assessing how life has affected us and developing tools to live a valued life going forward.
I specialize in trauma recovery and Adult ADHD, but have plenty of experience with depression, anxiety, phobias, OCD, managing life transitions, relationships and more. I work with individuals over 18 and couples. I was formerly a career counselor, educator in college/university, and I am a mother to 3 adult daughters and a wife of 28yrs.
