I work with overly analytical young adults in their 20’s and 30’s by helping them understand their feelings as useful information rather than an inconvenience or something to avoid. Wherever you are in your journey of life I want to meet you there and help you process current, past, and future concerns. You are the expert of your own life and I am here to help you achieve the goals you are struggling with. You can expect respect, compassion, and an engaged therapist when working with me.
I like to start sessions wherever you are in the moment and what you’d like to discuss that day. I like working with clients who are ready to discuss what challenges and experiences life has brought them. I will be a safe place to discuss those experiences as well as challenge views or concepts that are preventing them from achieving their goals.
I grew up in a family of educators so respect, listening, and service to others has been a value instilled from a young age. I always knew I wanted to help people but wasn’t sure in what capacity. Participating in many group activities throughout my life has prepared me for seeing the strengths and weaknesses in us all and how to support each other.
