(Accepting New Clients) Amy has worked in the mental health field for the last decade in a variety of settings, including adolescent residential treatment centers, and as a case manager and student advocate for Ogden School District. Through her experience, Amy discovered a passion for helping others improve their mental health. She currently focuses her work with adolescents, adults and families affected by depression, anxiety, trauma, compassion fatigue and secondary traumatic stress triggered by high-stress jobs (emergency services, nurses, etc.)
Amy aims to work collaboratively with the clients she sees. She uses evidenced-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help clients increase awareness, and learn skills and strategies to improve their lives.
