Hello, my name is Amy Johnson. I graduated from Michigan State University and have over twenty years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor. I believe that we can all benefit from therapy to help navigate through life. Change and growth can be messy. I am here to help you through it. I work with those who have chronic medical, as well as, mental health conditions. I also have experience in working with people who have anxiety, depression, mood disorders, personality disorders, trauma and substance use disorder.
I enjoy helping people learn to cope through major life changes: Family, employment, relationships and anything else that life throws at us. I use a variety of counseling practices in my work. My approach is person centered, collaborative and holistic. I value you as a person and everything that you bring to our sessions. I look forward to working with you.
