I am a licensed mental health therapist with 21 years of mental health and substance abuse counseling. I have done a lot of work with adults, young adults, and adolescents. I have also begun to do Life Coaching and hypnosis. Over the years I have worked with people with many issues including mood issues, anxiety, adjustment/life transitions, gender identity, divorce, infidelity, family issues, trauma, etc.
Mostly my clients have told me I’m pretty down to earth and relatable. I am an animal lover and my golden retriever was a part of my practice as a therapy dog until covid started. I mostly try to help people find the solution that fits them the best and support them until they are ready to make the changes they hope to make.
I think we all have times in our lives that we find our old habits unuseful and seek to make those changes. I also think we sometimes just need a person to listen to us to help clarify what the issues may be and ways to move forward or to cope with situations until they are over.
