Do you feel stuck in your life? In relationships? In Work? I have 33 years of practice experience working to help others overcome obstacles that prevent them from achieving satisfaction and fulfillment in their lives. Together we can work in a safe, comfortable and accepting environment to explore what is preventing you from feeling that your life goals are within reach. We will work together to explore both the troubling and positive aspects of your life, and how they have impacted you. Gaining a better understanding of yourself can enable you to make choices to move forward and find greater satisfaction in life.
I utilize a variety of approaches in my work. I am psychodynamically oriented, and am certified in EMDR, a protocol that addresses recent and childhood traumatic experiences. Additionally, I utilize IFS and guided relaxation techniques. I work closely with Psychiatrists for coordination of care for individuals on medication.
Contacting a therapist for the first time can feel like a very big decision. But if feeling better and feeling more like the person you want to be, I'd welcome the opportunity to help you explore how you can reach those goals and feel fulfillment in all areas of your life.
