I have over ten years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I have worked with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, parental and family separation, adoption, and complex trauma, among other issues. My experience comes from working in county mental health systems, non-profit systems, and private practice. I have experience working with adolescents experiencing depression and anxiety, complex trauma, conduct disorder, separation from family, adoption, and involvement in the juvenile system. I have worked with adults suffering from addiction to substances, complex trauma, partner/family issues, abuse, domestic violence, depression, and anxiety.
I provide individual therapy; family therapy to promote attachment, discuss conflict, and increase communication; and couples therapy, using the Gottman Method, to improve relational issues.
I believe that a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship is the beginning stages of therapy. I work to encourage insight and self-reflection, in addition to stepping outside your comfort zone to foster growth.
