People who enter therapy are the bravest people in the world. My job is to walk with you, sometimes offering tools that I have picked up along the way, sometimes just listening, always being present. I specialize in working with teens, adults, couples and families, meeting each person and situation individually. Everyone has their own unique journey in therapy. Different moments require different interventions. Sometimes someone just needs to be heard, other times they need concrete interventions and plans and sometimes they need both at the same time.
I believe that real is good and work is sacred. It's beautiful and hard and complicated, and yes, sometimes painful. It is also where the joy is, where the meaning lies, and where real living begins. Finding a therapist that you really connect with is essential. Having a safe place to return to week after week is essential. It's how the real healing happens.
