Also, as a Play therapist, I am uniquely qualified to treat children and teens and have special expertise in working with challenging behavior as well as trauma or difficult life circumstances. I also include parents in the therapy process in order to ensure they have the skills and support they need for success! Connecting in therapy, with both children and parents, creates lasting changes and positive growth!
Play Therapy is the most effecacious treatment for children. It help children feel safe to explore their feelings and change behaviors, while working with parents to find new and effective ways to create lasting changes. I have had particular success with teen and actually enjoy them! Adolescents can enjoy playful interventions, too!
I have over 25 years of experience in providing psychotherapy to a wide range of clients. Although I specialize in working with children, I have had great success providing services to couples and adults. Healing and growth don't have to be difficult!
