As a therapist, I understand how difficult it might be to take the first step toward healing. I have spent several years helping, assisting, and supporting others to do this very thing. My work with each client is unique; I use a blend of techniques which include client-centered, trauma focused, attachment focused, and solution-focused methods - focusing on the client's goals, as well as their strengths. My aim is to provide a compassionate and non-judgmental space to explore concerns, while balancing empathy with an engaged and interactive style.
Although I work with all ages, I especially trained to work with young children and adolescents. As a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor, I have valuable experience using play therapy interventions in my work with children and teens. Additionally, I am an EMDR Certified Therapist and offer EMDR therapy to both children and adults.
