As a trauma-informed therapist, I utilize an integrative approach that draws from a variety of techniques and theories including attachment theory, somatic experiencing, internal family systems, and reality therapy. For those who have experienced trauma, it can be challenging to feel connected to yourself and those around you. In therapy we will work together to develop a plan specific to your needs, prioritizing building connection to your own emotions and body.
My therapeutic style is approachable and friendly, creating a space where you feel safe to be your authentic self. I am committed to empowering my clients as they grow and realize the strengths they already possess. Helping clients find their voices, develop self-compassion, and advocate for themselves is one of my favorite parts of being a therapist!
