I have experience in working with families who have or are currently providing foster care or adoption. I have worked with Post Adoption families and continue to do so on areas such as High Stress parenting, managing and parenting children effected by FASD, and dealing with trauma behaviors from abused/neglected children in their care. I am also willing to work with families that are experiencing marriage difficulties, separation, divorce, or other hardships as well.
I help families and individuals re-establish harmony within their lives by assisting them to decrease feelings of stress and overwhelm so they can better serve themselves and their families. I use a strength-based, non-judgmental, collaborative approach to help individuals and families find what works best for them.

Nurturing Family Counseling
Telehealth counseling practice that specializes in Foster Care/Adoption related concerns. Clients age 10 and up who may be struggling with attachment, trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, oppositional behavior, and social issues are some of the client we love to help. We also work with parents, couples, and individuals to address secondary trauma from parenting children from hard places, as well as address attachment concerns that may be present due to the trauma experienced.
