You deserve evidence-based treatment that works. Together, we will identify and practice the skills that will enable you to effectively navigate a particular challenge, cope with situations or stressors that are outside of your control, affirm your identity, or meet a specific long-term goal.
I take a collaborative, transparent, and goal-oriented approach to therapy, with strategies that are grounded in research. I help patients identify the ways which their thinking styles lead to (1) negative impacts on mood and (2) behaviors that are not serving them. I also help them address stressors unique to their identities, with a focus on resilience.
I work with adolescents, adults, and couples from all backgrounds. I have advanced training in cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy, and I have extensive experience working with LGBTQIA populations and providing gender affirming care. In addition to my private practice, I am an Assistant Professor at Boston University.
