I have seen the growth and healing that can happen when you experience understanding and acceptance in a safe and compassionate environment. Whether you are coming into therapy to address current stressors in your life or are ready to work through past trauma, I will provide you with a supportive environment to begin that process. Together we will build awareness of your core beliefs, identify your patterns of interacting with the world, and uncover your inner strengths. Through learning the impact of traumatic experiences on the brain and nervous system, we can learn to regulate our emotions and increase safety in the body.
I utilize a range of therapeutic approaches including EMDR, Trauma-Focused CBT, and mindfulness-based interventions. In working with children, I use play to enhance the processing of their inner experiences and feelings. I empower families to build positive relationships through active participation in family therapy and parent consultation sessions.
I believe in personalizing treatment to each individual using a client-centered, collaborative approach. My practice is inclusive of all identities and I strive to honor each individual’s unique experience. I look forward to talking with you and seeing if I would be a good fit.
