I enjoy helping clients who have experienced childhood trauma and are now facing difficulties in their adult relationships. I use a combination of therapeutic interventions, including EMDR trauma therapy and parts work, to support clients in healing and growing into their most vibrant, calm, and whole version of themselves. Anxiety, depression, low self-worth, and reactivity often stem from unresolved trauma that remains trapped in our bodies and minds. If we don’t address and treat it, it can continually affect our present-day relationships. You deserve to experience the peace that comes from healing.
I approach mental health in a very holistic way, paying close attention to the connection between the brain and the body. EMDR is an excellent tool for accessing the part of our brain where trauma memories are stored. We can clear out the trauma and lower the emotional activation when we recall the event or have similar experiences in present-day life.
