Sometimes the parts of our lives that promise the most happiness become sources of anxiety, disappointment, or frustration. I am passionate about creating a warm, welcoming space where you can speak openly about these things and be taken seriously. I will invite you to tell your story, to reflect on formative relationships and experiences, and to grow in awareness of current thought patterns, emotions, and behaviors. Together we will set goals related to your challenges, and you will experiment with new skills and ways of thinking to leave you feeling more confident and effective in important roles and relationships.
I welcome clients of all ages but frequently work with pre-teens, teens, college & graduate students, and young adults. I utilize evidenced-based practices, drawing primarily Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Attachment Theory. I am happy to integrate faith as requested.
Don't hesitate to reach out! I'd love to have a conversation about how I can support you or your child.
