I believe that everyone possesses the capacity for growth and positive change. The therapeutic relationship is a sacred space in which to support clients in a warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative environment so that they can develop insight and evolve. I believe this is accomplished through identifying triggers and stuck points, exploring strengths, developing healthy coping skills, and processing stressful and traumatic life events.
Because we process our experiences mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically, I believe in a holistic approach to health and well-being. I use a combination of mind and body-based approaches such as EMDR, talk therapy, CBT, self-compassion, and mindfulness. I work with adolescents and adults struggling with a variety of mental health issues.
Pursuing intentional and healthy change can be challenging and the journey is often not linear. I offer counseling that encourages a deeper connection with and compassion for oneself. I am excited and honored to be a part of your healing journey.
