I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with years of experience treating neurodivergent young adults, adolescents and their families in a variety of settings, including schools and the juvenile justice system. My areas of specialty and focus are anxiety and ADHD. My goal is to create a nurturing environment where kids can grow into healthy adults with learned coping skills, and a better understanding of their own identity. As a neurodiversity-affirming therapist, I recognize that neurodivergence by itself is not a flaw or illness that needs to be “fixed.” Neurodivergence can come with its own set of strengths that can be fostered.
In my therapy space I create a warm and open environment to explore your strengths and needs. I enjoy bringing my full personality into the therapy space through humor, reflection, and self-awareness. My approach is eclectic and creative.
On a personal note, I enjoy spending time with my family and cat. Some of my hobbies include taking care of my many plants, listening to music, reading, hanging by the beach, and trying out local coffee spots. I look forward to working together and getting to know you!
