Living with anxiety and depression can lead to feeling exhausted and joyless. I use several different methods to treat those symptoms adult women, teenagers, and children aged 12 and up. My goal is help people learn to work through what is causing the anxiety and depression and learn coping skills so that they can enjoy life again. Other focuses of mine are women going through parenting challenges and life transitions and college students and their life transitions, and insomnia. Sleep is so important and can affect mental health on a daily basis.
I use talk therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy because I believe those are two great methods to use with anxiety and depression. I also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia to help with sleep challenges. In addition, I have found EMDR to be very effective, especially with trauma.
