I believe that everyone should be empowered and confident in living the life they want to live. I treat teens and adults with histories of trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, and depression. I believe in working with individuals to increase feelings of regulation and stability in day to day life while addressing historical events that contribute to stressors and day to day challenges. I believe that therapy starts with a strong foundational relationship and providing individuals from all walks of life with a safe and dignified space that is free from judgement.
I utilize a fusion of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and other evidence based practices to support the unique needs of each person I see. I am also trained in EMDR.
Starting or revisiting your mental health journey can bring any mixture of emotions. My goal is to meet you where you are and guide you on your journey to where you want to be.
