As humans, it is our instinct to want connection. Connecting with others can be especially challenging if you've suffered from trauma, loss and abuse. These deeply painful, often early developmental wounds can resurface in our day to day lives. These wounds can leave us experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship strain and career challenges, just to name a few.
The isolation, loneliness and vulnerability that can accompany these challenges are something I am highly attuned & deeply empathetic to. My theoretical background includes psychodynamic psychotherapy. I have worked in a variety of settings in outpatient mental health. My approach is individualized & based on your needs. My style is warm and engaging.
My aim is to help you understand your unique, innate strengths, while exploring the barriers that might be holding you back from connecting with others, and yourself. We are our own best healer. I am humbled to provide space, support and guidance to your healing journey.
