Welcome to Cultivating Peace Counseling LLC! I'm opening up my practice in East Hartford in late October to help my clients through their life challenges & am currently accepting referrals. Are you ready to take the next step into having more peace in your life? I work with pre-teens, teenagers and young adults who are looking to navigate issues such as school, family relationships, friendships and past trauma to become the person they wish to be. Through our work, I hope you’ll learn to truly cultivate peace.
I am trained in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), motivational interviewing, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), mindfulness and more. I utilize various evidence-based practices and modalities while incorporating kindness, affirmations, creativity, joy, and compassion to find the approach that works best for you!
I am passionate about working with pre-teens, teenagers, and young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. My goal is to create a welcoming, non-judgmental environment where honesty and openness are at the core of our sessions. We will work to identify and validate emotions, build confidence and navigate your life's challenges.
