I believe that everyone is resilient - and that constantly having to be strong can be exhausting. Through our work together, my goal is to honor that internal strength while also providing space for grieving, healing, and growing. I am passionate about supporting people that have lived through complex trauma and have been navigating their lives in survival mode. I work to help people re-establish a sense of safety within themselves, develop an understanding into how their experiences shaped them, and cultivate meaningful relationships.
I draw from a range of theories, including: DBT, psychodynamic, solution focused, and CBT. I am trained in Internal Family Systems, which is a modality that facilitates gaining insight into the various parts of oneself, including those that hold anxiety, shame, and sadness, and integrating these to develop a stronger sense of self.
