Hi, I’m Amanda. I’m a therapist on a mission to help people heal and find the courage to move forward. I want to understand how your life experiences have impacted you. To do so, I provide a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel safe to tell your story and speak your truth. I believe that every client can achieve their goals with the right resources, education and clinical support. Together, we will identify the root causes of your distress and build a foundation for lasting, positive change.
I specialize in supporting individuals who have survived traumatic events. I use a blend of trauma-focused (e.g. EMDR), Cognitive-Behavioral and Mindfulness-based therapies to treat many kinds of trauma including: sexual assault, childhood abuse, relationship trauma, accidents, medical trauma and vicarious trauma experienced by healthcare professionals.
My clinical approach is grounded in neuroscience, evidence-based interventions and focused on every client's potential for post-traumatic growth.
