Amanda is passionate about working with individuals and families experiencing a wide range of struggles. She has a warm, caring, and non-judgmental approach to therapy. She helps individuals and families get past their past, and develop a new mindset and habits that sets them up for success. Amanda believes in an experiential and strength-based approach to therapy, helping others explore and grow to cope with life's difficulties. She has additional training and experience in early childhood mental health, working with young children and their families.
She also provides Child-Parent Psychotherapy, an evidenced based therapy for children ages birth through five with traumatic exposure. Amanda earned her Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota in 2015. She has been licensed through the state of Minnesota as a Marriage and Family Therapist since 2017.
