My ideal client wants something better, has no idea what "better" is or looks like, and has no idea where to start. They are still determining if they are ready to start or commit to that change. What they need is a person and a space to figure it out. Deep down, they know where they are right now can be better, whether in relationships, emotions, daily habits, major life goals, or anything in-between. But, most importantly, they want a space where they can process and grow from that place and build a sustainable life.
My therapy style is person-centered because I create a customized plan for the client. I work at your pace, and we will make meaningful goals. You are the expert in your own experiences, and I want to help you use your experiences to improve your overall quality of life. I believe in developing coping skills and self-esteem by determining what works for you.
I am hard to alienate and push away. I am someone who does not judge you. Even if you see your issues as first-world problems or your inner critic tells you they are unnecessary, they matter to me.
