If you struggle to get through your day, burdened by anxious thoughts and feelings of emptiness and futility, you're in good company. Feelings of low self-worth, loss of identity, lack of purpose, disconnection in relationships, or existential/spiritual angst can have many different origins in our past experiences. These emotions force us to come face to face with life's most difficult questions every day. If you're tired of living in your own head, I want to help you sort through your own thoughts and feelings to find those answers and move forward.
My approach is existential and person-centered, meaning that I work together with you as you confront the hardest parts of being human, guided by your own sense of who you are and where you want to go. I help you build skills to identify and manage the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and to more fully integrate mind, body, and spirit.
I believe that humans have the natural tendency to move toward growth, but there are so many obstacles that get in our way, many of our own making. Still, there is hope, and there is a way - or many different ways - to move forward from where you are.
