In times that can seem harsh and unfair, it can be hard to find a way forward. I believe that our problems are not “all in your head.” There are real reasons we feel the way we feel, and they deserve to be heard and honored. Systemic oppression, world events, and childhood experiences can have unexpected effects on our daily lives. I hope our work will help you better understand how to unite your Self, your values, and your circumstances to build the life you want to live.
I specialize in trauma-informed, postmodern, and experiential therapy. That means I recognize our bodies learn their own lessons which our minds may not be able to erase, and healing sometimes may need to go beyond “just talk.” We may need insight into our story, and to cultivate new experiences of ourselves.
