As a therapist, I work hard to provide acceptance, unconditional positive regard and empathy to build a strong therapeutic relationship. The work I do is deeply rooted in my belief that everyone can find success. I believe that everyone has the ability to reach their highest potential once they have overcome the obstacles that stand in their way. In our work together, I help provide support in identifying barriers and creating a tailored plan for individual needs. Through collaboration and support we can work to find healing.
In our therapeutic work together, I will utilize client centered techniques coupled with trauma informed approaches such as EMDR, Play Therapy, and Sand Therapy to provide support and healing. I have a passion for working with children/adolescents, young adults and families to help generate coping mechanisms to provide healthier functioning.
I have experience working with a variety of concerns including: trauma, anxiety, behavioral issues, transitions, depression, low self-esteem, family conflict, parenting, OCD, ADHD & peer relationships.
