I have 10 years of counseling experience, and have provided home-based counseling and helped start an adolescent drug court program. I utilize evidenced-based practices, including CBT, MI, and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy). I also implement art-therapy techniques to encourage creative expression. I enjoy and excel working with children ages 5 and up.
You can expect a laid-back setting filled with empathy, humor, and compassion. I will address current stressors first, and help you identify ways to process and manage emotions. I welcome all clients and seek to gain understanding of those who believe differently than myself. Together we can work towards a higher level of overall well-being and happiness.
