Hello, I’m Amanda Swadinsky, and I’m dedicated to guiding individuals through their unique journey of self-discovery, growth, and healing. From my perspective, counseling is a collaborative venture, where I work alongside clients, and when appropriate, their guardians to dig into life’s complexities. Creating a safe haven for exploring challenges is my priority. I understand that navigating life’s twists and turns can be difficult without support. My specializations extend to helping children (ages 6+), teens, and adults dealing with life transitions, anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, OCD, grief and loss.
Embracing a holistic counseling approach, I blend therapeutic interventions like CBT, Mindfulness, ACT, Growth Mindset, and DBT Skills training. I firmly believe in the power of play and art, as well as, the healing power of animals. You will often find Banks, my sweet golden retriever, assisting me in sessions.
