Reality is, feelings of anxiety, pain, sadness, and uncertainty surface for many individuals. Trauma, loss, transitions, relationships, and much more could be bringing these to the surface. Reaching out for help is your first step, and one that I admire greatly. Working along side animals in my office, you will find compassion, love, and understanding. My goal is to help you build skills that allow you to relate more authentically to the world around you. We will spend time reflecting and opening understanding around how you are in relationship to the world, other, and your self. I want to help you feel better, that starts with you.
As a therapist, I am confident in my ability to provide a non judgmental environment where you can safely be heard, seen, and valued. I am passionate about the use of animals to help break down barriers, and use art therapy to help understand the feelings surfacing through life’s realities. My skills mostly utilize principles of CBT, DBT, ACT, and IFS.
Life often hands you more challenges than you can handle on your own. There is no better day than today to start making changes in yourself and the way you see the world around you. I look forward to hearing from you.
