Hello, I'm Amanda Cencak of Daya Counseling. I am passionate about helping others seek clarity and acceptance through individual therapy. I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults who find themselves struggling with feelings of inadequacy and experiencing symptoms of anxiety and depression. Many of my clients experience their worlds through a lens of neurodiversity. ADHD, ASD and other learning differences often contribute to daily struggles and stressors. I help each individual gain insight into their personal struggles and offer support and teaching of skills aimed at increasing self efficacy and confidence.
I also help clients process trauma and I'm trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. The life-altering effects of traumatic experiences can impact all of our systems; the cognitive, emotional, physical social, and spiritual. I'm passionate in helping client's reclaim their present life from past negative beliefs.
