I take special pride in providing individual therapy to adult clients who are overfunctioners or perfectionists in the face of stress, those who demonstrate compassion towards others but have difficulty extending the same compassion to themselves, individuals who feel stretched thin by the demands of their life, those who wish to explore their relationship with drugs and/or alcohol or have a loved one with a substance use issue, and individuals impacted by trauma. Clients often work with me to address their anxiety (including OCD), depression, substance use, stress related to life changes, and relational difficulties.
I believe the counseling experience needs to be tailored to the individual needs of each client and strive for my clients to experience me as welcoming, thoughtful, straightforward, and caring. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Ritual Prevention (ExRP) for OCD, and EMDR in my work with clients.
I see clients through Full Life Counseling & Recovery which has its roots in substance use and recovery services, but offers a wide array of services for those seeking support for concerns outside of substance use, too. Right now I am seeing clients solely through telehealth and have morning and mid-day availability.
