I believe everyone should feel supported in how they present to the world by providing a space that honors the client to tell their story. I am passionate about supporting clients to foster self-awareness and gain insight into their thoughts, feelings and behaviors by empowering individuals to recognize and draw from their inner strengths. During the therapeutic process I will explore how the past or present wounds are preventing individuals from feeling safe, heard and whole.
I recognize the importance of using the body as the biggest tool to regulate and soothe parts of ourselves that feel stuck. I have specialized training working with survivors of domestic and sexual violence, sex trafficking, maladjustment, PTSD, anxiety, LGBTQIA- related issues, women issues and co-occuring substance use.
I strive to provide a safe space to ensure culturally competent and LGBTQIA-affirming care in sessions. I strongly believe it is important to feel connected with the other person in the room, that is why I offer a 15 minute consultation to make sure we are good fit for each other.
